How strange to carry on with daily life with one part of my brain while another part tries to come to terms with the things happening around the world this week. The heartbreaking news from Japan. The bravery and suffering in Libya. And I hide away in my studio taking solace in the peace of white paint and gentle shadows.
This painting is two feet square and is on canvas, so it is softly textured.
