Getting Organized

I recently sold a number of paintings and currently have three shows under way so my studio is feeling empty. People have been asking me what I have available to sell and I shrug.

It is time to get organized! I have updated my mailing list, updated Quickbooks, and for the first time ever I did an inventory of available paintings. I am happy to say that there are more than I thought! Also I get a kick out of seeing all these tiny thumbnails gathered together.

I suppose I could put some kind of indicator on my web site to tell people if a painting is for sale or not but I think that would clash with the intimate and emotional nature of my work. Thinking about business is so hard for me.

Enough book keeping. It is time to get back into the studio to do what I really love.

Update 25 July. The white chicken and white rabbit at the top center of these thumbnails have sold.

  1. the thumbnail shots are a beautiful arrangement of color too. It's nice to balance out some of that "need to do" with the "want to do." Enjoy

  2. Beautiful work as always Jean. I love the posts about Jordan. And all those chickens. How did the indigo do?
