Twist and Shout

I painted this lazy susan in about an hour! It was so refreshing since I have been feeling bogged down lately by paintings that take weeks to finish - and some that never seem to get finished at all. Everything is taking so long these days and I have been feeling lazy and unproductive. Hooray for dancing weasels who never take themselves too seriously. I have called this lazy susan "Twist and Shout" (can a lazy susan have a name?). It will be auctioned at my son's school auction along with the child generated paintings in the last post.

Dance! Sing! Laugh! Twist and Shout!

  1. OK, this is making me want to attend your school auction! Well, almost. :) So playful and will make the lucky winning bidder smile every time they use it. Did your kitty decide to try it out and go for a spin? That must have been quite a surprise, if so! Oh, Daniel said he might be up for hosting something in the summer, right now he's too busy and he thinks the place will look nicer in summer anyway. Let's keep bugging him!

  3. Love your painting Jean... so cheerful and fun! Looking at the children's flowers again I am so impressed with the beauty of that creation! So magical, exuberant and free... I envy the lucky bidder at the auction for both your beautiful bowl and the children's art.
