Opium Cheers Me Up

These poppies are growing wild near my studio in the middle of the very annoying construction site. I have to paint with my door closed because it is so noisy. Go away. Go away. Hurry up and finish your extraordinarily disruptive three car garage. My nerves are ragged. Opium tea is starting to look tempting.

  1. Please make enough tea for 2! Our garden is looking like a horror show right about now.

  2. Construction is every where here on the hill and in the city. Very wearing.

I would love some seeds if you get a chance to save any. and some opium tea too please.

I'm not looking at my garden either- well, just the roses and nothing lower.

  3. I don't know about the tea, but I will definitely save some seed as some other folks have asked too. It is a pretty flower.

  4. Red Poppy is one flower that I would like to grow in my garden but Poppies don't seem to grow here in Bangalore, at least, I haven't seen any till now. And you have them growing wild and such a big one too! Lucky you!

  5. Oh, there they are! See what I miss when I'm behind on my blog viewing? Oh man, when we moved into our house the next door neighbors were doing a backyard remodel that involved months of disruption, actually it was over a year all told. Of course it was all right next to my daughter's room and it made napping virtually impossible (she was 2) and being calm for me pretty difficult. They never said sorry once and then the end result was that their storm runoff drains into our basement. Neighbors and their big dumb home improvements, how we love them! Having your studio door closed must be miserable. I hope they do finish it soon. Maybe it's done already?
